Dried Fruits and nuts is best paired with a Sweet & Intense wine
These fortified wines are embellished with brandy, either before, during or after the fermentation process, making them much more concentrated and stronger as a result. There are a variety of fortified wines with styles ranging from dry to medium and lusciously sweet. Ideally served as aperitifs with tapas, or serve sweet wines with dessert or flavourful cheeses. Typical flavours can include fresh and baked black and red fruits, nuts, spice, briny, and savoury.
